LEGAL // ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility.
We want everyone who visits this website to be able to read and use it. This page explains what we have built, what we know still needs work, and how to reach us.
Our commitment
B-Cognitive Systems wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification or browser zoom, and voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We have not yet had this website independently audited, and we have not completed testing against every WCAG success criterion. We therefore do not claim conformance. This statement describes what we have built, what we know does not yet meet the standard, and what we plan to do next.
Scope
This statement covers every page at bcognitivesystems.com: the home page, Language Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Autonomous Systems, About, Government & Primes, Careers, Contact, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, this Accessibility Statement, the thank-you page, and the 404 page. It also covers the contact form. Our capability statement is not yet available online; see Alternative formats below.
Features we have built
The following features are in the site code as of October 22, 2026:
- Language: every page declares its language as English.
- Page titles: each page has a unique title that names the page and the company.
- Skip link: every page starts with a “Skip to content” link that moves keyboard and screen reader users straight to the main content.
- Headings: each page has one main heading, and section headings follow in order.
- Navigation: the main menu and the footer menu use labeled links. On small screens the main menu opens from a button that announces whether it is open or closed.
- Keyboard focus: links, buttons, and form fields show a visible gold outline when they receive keyboard focus.
- Reduced motion: animations and reveal effects are turned off for visitors whose device is set to reduce motion.
- Zoom: the site does not block pinch zoom or browser zoom.
- Images: the one photograph has descriptive alternative text. Decorative network and honeycomb graphics are hidden from screen readers. Informative graphics have text labels or are explained in the surrounding text.
- Contact form: every field has a visible label, and required fields are marked as required. The spam-check field is hidden from screen readers and from keyboard focus.
- Links: links to other websites open in a new window and are set up so the new page cannot access this one.
- Multilingual text: Arabic-script text uses a dedicated font (Noto Naskh Arabic) for better legibility.
Known limitations
We know the following do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA:
- Color contrast: we have not measured every text and background combination. Some muted gray text on dark navy backgrounds may fall below the 4.5:1 ratio that WCAG requires for body text. We are measuring and correcting this.
- Themes: the site has one visual theme. It does not offer a dark mode or a high-contrast mode.
- New-window links: links to LinkedIn and X open in a new window without saying so in the link text. We plan to add “(opens in new window)” to these links.
- Form messages: after you send the contact form, you are taken to the thank-you page. Any error messages from the form service have not been tested with screen readers.
- Illustrative graphics: the threat-feed, language-analysis, and cyber displays are visual illustrations. They are explained in the text beside them, but they may not convey every detail to screen reader users.
- Fonts for multilingual text: text in Persian, Dari, Pashto, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Uzbek, Tajik, and Russian is shown in the browser’s fonts for those scripts. Small text may be harder to read on some devices.
- External fonts: the site loads fonts from Google Fonts. If those fonts cannot load, the browser uses fallback fonts, and layout may shift slightly.
- Third-party form service: the contact form is processed by Web3Forms. Its accessibility is outside our direct control.
- Capability statement: the PDF is not yet available online, and we have not checked whether it is accessible.
Testing status
We have reviewed the site code for page structure, heading order, labels, focus behavior, and motion settings. We have not yet completed the following tests, and we will publish the results on this page when they are done:
- Automated scanning of every page with a recognized accessibility testing tool.
- Keyboard-only testing of every page, including the menus, the contact form, and the footer.
- Screen reader testing with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on iPhone or Mac, for the home page, a service page, the contact form, and the thank-you page.
- Color contrast measurement of every text and background combination.
Target date for completing these tests: December 31, 2026.
