RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor Farsi-language media, official statements, and public online platforms
• Analyze reporting on Iran’s nuclear weapons program, missile and drone capability, and proxies
• Write clear, sourced assessments with key judgments and confidence levels
• Translate and gist priority material into English
• Flag emerging developments and shifts in official messaging

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Native or near-native Farsi and professional English (ILR 3 or equivalent preferred)
• Experience in research, analysis, or reporting on Iran
• Strong analytic writing skills
• US citizenship; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance may be required

PREFERRED

• Background in nonproliferation, international affairs, or security studies
• Familiarity with structured analytic techniques

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate, transcribe, and analyze Pashto and Dari open-source material
• Identify narratives, actors, and regional context in armed group messaging
• Support cultural and political-military advising
• Prepare summaries and assessments for program teams
• Maintain terminology consistency across projects

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Native or near-native Pashto and/or Dari and professional English
• Knowledge of Afghanistan, Pakistan, and regional armed groups
• Attention to detail and discretion with sensitive material
• US citizenship; clearance eligibility may be required

PREFERRED

• Experience supporting US government or international programs
• Urdu proficiency

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Triage and prioritize document and media sets
• Produce gist, summary, and full translations of priority items
• Extract names, entities, locations, and relationships
• Handle technical, military, and administrative terminology
• Document findings in structured reporting formats

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Native or near-native Urdu, Punjabi (Shahmukhi), or Sindhi and professional English
• Experience in translation, transcription, or document review
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines
• US citizenship; clearance eligibility may be required

PREFERRED

• Proficiency in more than one listed language
• Familiarity with DOMEX/DOCEX workflows

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze foreign-language threat actor claims, lures, and code artifacts
• Map adversary behavior to MITRE ATT&CK
• Support attribution with linguistic and cultural evidence
• Write CTI briefs for technical and policy audiences
• Track Iran-linked and Russian-language threat activity in public sources

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Farsi or Russian proficiency and professional English
• Foundational cybersecurity knowledge; CompTIA Security+ or equivalent preferred
• Analytic writing experience
• US citizenship; clearance eligibility may be required

PREFERRED

• CTI certifications (for example, GIAC GCTI) or SOC experience
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms
