Multilingual voice command
Spoken control of drones and robots in regional languages and dialects.
PILLAR III // AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS
Coming soonDrones and robots are learning to see. We are teaching them to read, listen, and speak Farsi, Pashto, Urdu, Russian, and the region’s other languages, and to understand its culture.
01 // THE LANGUAGE LAYER
An unmanned system in Southwest or Central Asia meets spoken commands, street signs, documents, and people. Without the language layer, it sees everything and understands nothing.
We focus on that layer for drones (UAS) and ground robots (UGVs): what they read, what they hear, and what they say. Building platforms of our own is a later step.
02 // FOCUS AREAS
Spoken control of drones and robots in regional languages and dialects.
Onboard recognition and translation of signs, documents, and markings in local scripts.
Culturally appropriate phrases and dialogue for robots operating among local populations.
Regional-language speech and text data, and evaluation of how well systems understand it.
Multilingual communication between operators, partner forces, and autonomous systems.
Original-language due diligence on suppliers and components for unmanned systems programs.
