Ahmad Shakibi founded B-Cognitive Systems on a conviction shaped by sixteen years of language work: that understanding a region begins with understanding its words. A language analyst and subject-matter expert in counterterrorism and nonproliferation, he has built his career where language, diplomacy, and security meet, including years supporting US government engagement in Afghanistan.
He has interpreted for ambassadors, diplomats, attachés, and senior military officials, carrying meaning faithfully across languages in rooms where precision mattered. Alongside that work, he analyzed sensitive political and security documents and assessed the local dynamics behind them.
His counterterrorism expertise centers on the Af-Pak region and the armed groups operating across Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Central Asia. In nonproliferation, he specializes in Iran’s nuclear weapons program, its missile and drone capability, and its network of active proxies.
Looking ahead, he brings experience in cyber threat intelligence and is advancing research into autonomous systems, exploring how language intelligence can give smart and unmanned platforms the understanding they need to operate across the region.
As founder and CEO, he leads B-Cognitive Systems’ analysis, client engagement, and network of vetted linguists and analysts that we are building.
